Very old tree. Owner said it had survived at least one lightning strike.

39 and 40 on the tree list. This may look like three trees - but they share the same trunk, which lies horizontally on the ground, with the main root to the left. The first branch is propped up. I stripped the ivy from this tree after photographing it. Not very many fruit, perhaps due to old age.

This old tree is propped up and rather overshadowed. There may be layering opportunities here.

Large old tree. On north bank of river Avon. Tree overhangs a path. Four large branches recently severed, presumably by the neighbours. Tree has exposed roots. Tree exhibits a split trunk.
